Lenore Stine, LPC
EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist
I graduated with a degree in Pastoral Counseling from Moravian Seminary in 2008. This program provided me with a comprehensive understanding of psychology and treatment along with the skills necessary to teach people how to develop their own spirituality, either within their faith system or as a stand-alone belief system.
Counseling is a second career for me. In a former setting, I was employed by a large computer manufacturer as a systems engineer in a technical sales support position. Working for a large corporation taught me many things and I am grateful for the training and life experience.
I have lived in many different cities, on both coasts. While living in Seattle, I became very interested in vitamins and eastern-based approaches to health and well-being. I am passionate about incorporating these into my counseling practice.
My professional skills, work history, family life, and spirituality training provide me with a distinct blend of insight and experience that is my joy to share.

Board Certified Consultant, American Board of Sport Psychology
I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies at Moravian College and received my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Chestnut Hill College. Trained as a generalist practitioner, I have significant experience providing holistic counseling working with children, adolescents, traditional college-aged students, and trauma survivors. I believe each individual can benefit from a counseling approach uniquely tailored to meet them on their journey of authentic self-discovery.
As an athlete and former coach, I also worked with high school and college athletes dealing with sport-specific performance issues. I possess multiple certifications including being a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, a Certified Trauma Art Narrative Therapist, a Certified Neuropsychotherapist, and a Certified EDMR therapist. Additionally, I have received specialized training in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy. I have worked with various populations ranging in both age and diagnoses while utilizing many counseling approaches.
Melissa Carr, LPC, CAADC
EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist
I graduated with a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Rosemont College in 2013. This education provided me with a comprehensive understanding of psychology, treatment modalities, and the skills necessary to teach and empower others to take control in their lives and increase distress tolerance skills.
Over the past ten years, my passion has been working with individuals who strive to understand the "why" behind their life patterns and a desire to stop dysfunctional behavioral loops. Most of my clients have experienced PTSD, dissociation, and relational stressors. The experience of accompanying an individual on their path to healing and building a better mind-body-spirit connection is nothing short of remarkable and humbling.
In addition to being an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor ( CAADC), I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR therapist. I am also an approved SARPH, PNAP, and Pennsylvania Medical Board evaluator.

Angela Davis, MA
I graduated from DeSales University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, with concentrations in Clinical Counseling and Forensic Psychology. In 2024, I graduated from Moravian University with my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. Both programs provided a solid educational foundation and the clinical tools needed for me to treat individuals with a wide variety of issues.
Counseling is a second career for me. I have worked in the medical education field for nearly 18 years and prior to that I worked in the human resources field. However, I always knew that being a counselor was my life's calling, and I never forgot that life-long dream. Though it took many years, I finally achieved my goal and am thrilled to be part of the Lehigh Valley Counseling team as I begin my career as a counselor.
My clinical experience thus far includes working with patients in the hospital setting, school setting, and private practice setting. I have always been intrigued by why people do the things they do. Human behavior is fascinating, and I thoroughly enjoy helping people gain insight into their lives. Counseling might seem intimidating to some people, but my belief is that it is just as beneficial as going to a physician when you are sick or injured, or going to the dentist for cleanings and checkups. Our bodies and minds are so intricately intertwined, and taking care of both is paramount to living a healthy life. My therapeutic approach is to offer a compassionate, welcoming, safe space for patients of all ages to open up at their comfort level, allowing me to help them on their journey.
Tyler VanAllen, MA, LAPC
I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Moravian University in 2023. This program has provided a solid clinical foundation that enables me to treat a wide range of mental health issues while emphasizing the uniqueness of each individual and incorporating their own interpersonal and cultural beliefs and practices.
My clinical background has focused on various mental health issues, including anxiety, bipolar disorders, depression, grief and bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder, relational stressors, and many other areas of concern. I have extensive clinical experience working with PA’s veteran and first responder population and have been humbled to serve those who graciously serve me.
I pride myself in taking a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to treatment, emphasizing each individual’s uniqueness. I am a PATH-certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), which has provided me with the training required to practice equine-assisted therapy. I am passionate about understating the harmonious relationship between humankind and the animal kingdom.
I look forward to meeting you and assisting you on your journey for peace and happiness.
Elizabeth Spellacy, MA, LAPC
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Kutztown University in May of 2023 with a concentration in Marriage and Family counseling. During these years, I was provided with a comprehensive education in trauma, addiction, and the numerous treatment modalities needed to provide effective care.
During the past 18 months, I have worked with those diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, and others to manage symptoms, empower individuality, and create knowledge and balance in their lives. I have a profound commitment to supporting individuals on their journey to mental and emotional well-being.
My approach to counseling is rooted in a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind and the challenges it can face. I believe in the power of empathy and active listening, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. My therapeutic methods incorporate evidence-based practices, customized to each client’s unique needs and goals.
If you’re seeking support to navigate life’s emotional complexities and improve your mental well-being, I am here to help you on your path to healing and personal growth.
